Palousa San Sebastian has some famous dressage sires in his pedigree, sire SAN REMO (KWPN & Han) is by Wolkentanz I who is a son of one of the best stallions ever (dressage and show jumping), WELTMEYER. San Remo’s other grandsire is VOLTURNO (by Vollkorn XX) an Eventing stallion, twice German Champion and Olympic Games. Palousa San Sebastian’s dam, Palousa Caprice was 5 times Best Mare of the Dutch Appaloosa breed. Her sire is the Trakehner GRIBALDI, who died early 2010, a Grand Prix stallion, who came more in the news as being the sire of MOORLANDS TOTILAS, now sold to Paul Schockmoehle (PSI), the dressage wonder who has achieved scores of above 90%.

Although dressage bred, he is currently BSJA showjumping 1.20/1.30m and winning.

Graded with WBS-UK (British Warmblood), and in October 2009 CHAMPION BRITISH SPORTSHORSE during British Warmblood grading. In 2013 he covered Black Bess, producing a super filly foal. www.dressagestuds.com
